Charlotte, North Carolina-based solar project developer Pine Gate Renewables LLC has secured $20 million in funding. The investor was New Energy Capital Partners. The capital infusion will be used to develop, build, and bring online solar power in projects in North Carolina, South Carolina and Oregon.
