Symphony Technology Group has acquired eSolutions from Aon Risk Solutions. No financial terms were discussed. XMS Capital Partners provided financial advice to Aon on this transaction. eSolutions was the risk management information systems business unit of Aon Risk Solutions.
Royal Adhesives & Sealants, a portfolio company of Arsenal Capital Partners, has acquired "substantially all" of Chemque's assets. No financial terms were disclosed. Based in Toronto, Chemque is a provider of polyurethane foams and adhesives for the telecom, flooring and construction sectors.
Omnitracs, a portfolio company of Vista Equity Partners, said Monday that it has agreed to acquire XRS Corp for $178 million in equity or $5.60 per share. The deal is expected to close in the fourth quarter of this year. Jefferies served as financial advisor to Omnitracs while William Blair was financial advisor to XRS Corp. Royal Bank of Canada, Credit Suisse and Guggenheim are providing financing for the deal. Based in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, XRS is a provider of mobile fleet optimization software.
FountainVest Partners and Canada Pension Plan Investment Board have made an undisclosed investment in Key Safety Systems.
Behrman Capital said Monday that it has acquired BECO Holding Company from Freeman Spogli. No financial terms were disclosed. Harris Williams served as financial advisor to BHC on the transaction. Headquartered in Charlotte, NC, BHC is a provider of first-response fire protection equipment and related parts.
Siccar Point Energy has inked an agreement to receive up to $500 million in funding. Blue Water Energy and Blackstone have agreed to lead the round with participation from GIC. Headquartered in Aberdeen, Scotland, Siccar Point Energy is a new exploration, development and production firm focused on the North Sea.
SAS Sistema de Ensino has received an undisclosed investment from General Atlantic. Based in Brazil, SAS is a learning systems provider.
Thoma Bravo has agreed to buy Detroit-based business software provider Compuware and take it private for about $2.5 billion.
Expera, a portfolio company of KPS, has completed a $270 million recapitalization.. Proceeds of the recap were used to pay a dividend to stockholders, refinance debt and support company growth. Expera is a maker of specialty paper products in North America.
Addison Group, a portfolio company of Trilantic Capital Partners, has acquired CVPartners. No financial terms were disclosed. Based in California and Washington, CVPartners is a staffing firm.
