Emerging markets private equity fund Exhilway Asia Ventures is planning an IPO for next year. The firm seeks to list the stock on the NASDAQ and will issue shares at a $2.5 billion valuation.
MOUNT LAUREL, N.J., Nov. 18, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — Exhilway Asia Ventures, the emerging markets private equity fund and the investment advisory arm of Exhilway Global has announced plans to go public on the NASDAQ stock exchange in New York. The IPO is slated for the launch early next year.
Exhilway Asia Ventures will soon file documents with the SEC confirming to their plan of action and proposed equity dilution and share pricing. Exhilway will be issuing shares at a valuation of US $2.5 billion, majorly to the pre-identified private equity funds and other investment companies at a 6% discount to the market price. The company has confirmed that their talks with the investors are in the advanced stages.
Exhilway Asia Ventures operates in Singapore, India and China focusing mainly on advising the emerging companies to raise funds from the global limited partners. The company posted a net loss of US $6.5 million last year, but posses’ healthy equity holdings in the emerging companies worldwide, particularly in the companies where they have invested in the last two years. The company is debt free and has internally financed its business operations since inception.
