Goldfinch appoints Herman as partner and general counsel

Prior to joining Goldfinch, Herman was a partner at law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer for more than 15 years.

Goldfinch Partners has named Matthew F. Herman has a partner and general counsel. Herman will join the firm in November 2021. He will be based in New York.

Prior to joining Goldfinch, Herman was a partner at law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer for more than 15 years. Most recently, Herman was Freshfields’ US managing partner and co-head of global M&A.

Herman is graduate of The Albany Law School.

Goldfinch invests in the marketing, commerce, payments, fintech, supply chain and human capital sectors. Currently, it has about $1 billion of equity invested in enterprise technology companies.
