Guidepost promotes two to GP

Guidepost Growth Equity has promoted Chris Cavanagh and Eugene Nogi to general partner.

As co-head of Guidepost’s information and data services team, Cavanagh helped lead the firm’s investments in Lucid and ThinkHR. Prior to joining Guidepost, Cavanagh was vice president at Great Hill Partners and began his career in investment banking at Citigroup Global Markets.

Since joining Guidepost, Nogi has helped lead the firm’s investments in ActiveViam and Traction on Demand. He co-heads Guidepost’s communications and infrastructure team and was previously a partner at Symmetric Capital for 10 years. Nogi began his private equity career at Summit Partners.

Cavanagh has been at Guidepost since 2015 while Nogi came on board in 2018.
