H.I.G. Capital has named Ahmad Atwan as a managing director on the infrastructure team.
In his new role, Atwan will be responsible for all aspects of the investment process including origination, transaction structuring, financing and execution of post-closing strategies.
Prior to joining H.I.G., Atwan was a managing director at Morgan Stanley Infrastructure Partners where he served as a board director of multiple portfolio companies. Before that, Atwan was a managing director at BlackRock’s global private equity group where he served as the head of energy and resources investing.
Based in Miami, H.I.G. has over $40 billion of equity capital under management.
