Morgan Stanley Capital Partners is seeking a vice president for its New York office. Job responsibilities include evaluating new investment opportunities, leading transaction execution and developing capital structure and valuation views. Candidates should have an MBA from a top-ranked business school. At least two years of experience at a leading investment bank or management consulting firm and at least two years of pre-MBA direct private equity investing experience are required.

StepStone Group is recruiting for a vice president of private equity business development in its London office. The hire should be an emerging or established name in the fundraising sphere. He or she will be ultimately responsible for the development and management of all new and existing relationships with European institutional investors. Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree and have five to 15 years of private equity, alternative asset placement agent, advisor, or other relevant experience. An MBA or CFA is a plus. Hamilton Lane is seeking a vice president, mezannine for its co-investment team in Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania. The hire will be primarily responsible for evaluating mezzanine debt and credit-related investments in New York-based companies. A minimum of eight years of experience in financial services, including accounting and corporate finance, with particular emphasis on mezzanine investment experience, is required. Candidates should also have “significant” experience performing complex financial analysis, modeling, and company valuations, including discounted cash flow and comparable company analyses.

Silicon Valley-based venture firm Andreessen Horowitz wants to add a consumer or enterprise partner for its deal team. Job responsibilities include sourcing investment opportunities, leading comprehensive diligence and presenting points of view about industry trends and best practices. Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, math, physics or other technical fields. He or she should also have a deep understanding of the startup ecosystem and the history of the technology (especially software) industry. OMERS Private Equity is seeking a post-MBA associate for its New York office.
