


Babson Capital Management is seeking a private equity fund investment professional (either associate director or director). The position is for the firm’s Babson Capital Strategic Investors. Responsibilities include sourcing strategically targeted investment opportunities and analyzing primary and secondary market fund investments. The hire will report to the senior managing director of the BCSI team. Candidates should have over seven years of experience investing in corporate-focused alternative investment strategies such as buyouts, venture capital and growth private equity. The job is in Springfield, Massachusetts.
Golub Capital is interviewing for a variety of positions that include analyst, associate, assistant vice president and vice president. According to Golub, the hires in these positions will be responsible for reviewing new investment opportunities and monitoring existing investments. Each recruit will be involved in new deals, whether assisting senior team members on deal execution or being responsible for all aspects of deal execution including evaluation, structuring, due diligence and legal documentation. Goldman Sachs wants to hire an analyst/associate for its merchant banking division. Duties include administering a series of private equity (or other similar) funds/strategies and writing investor correspondence and preparing related analyses. Also, he or she will review financial statements and work with accountants to resolve questions. Candidates should have a minimum of two years of related work experience. The job will be either in New York City or Irving, Texas.
Morgan Stanley is seeking a pre-MBA growth equity analyst for its San Francisco office. Duties include evaluating new investment opportunities; conducting in-depth sector research; developing valuation and return views; and conducting due diligence on investment opportunities. The position is for a one- to two-year program via Morgan Stanley Expansion Capital’s office. Candidates should have a minimum two year (by August 2015 start date) experience from a leading private equity fund or investment bank.
