Private Equity Jobs of the Week: Apollo, Access Holdings and BlackRock are hiring

Access Holdings is looking to hire a senior associate of investments. The hire will profile investment themes and approaches and lead due diligence and analysis; and conduct market and industry research, while qualifying investment opportunities and providing weekly updates. Also, he or she will create and maintain deal flow database by identifying potential targets and preparing company-specific due diligence reports and analyses. Candidates must have an MBA (upcoming 2022 graduation) from a top-tier institution; three to five years of investment banking, private equity, corporate development or consulting experience; or four to six years of transaction advisory services experience. The position is in Baltimore.

Apollo Global Management is searching for an associate that will be part of the investment COOs team focused on the private equity business. The hire will assist private equity leadership in the day-to-day management of their businesses and progress toward firm-wide goals and growth targets. Also, he or she will support PE leadership in the evaluation and implementation of new business activities, including new funds/product development, business line extensions, competitive intelligence, industry coverage models and organization structure. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree from a top undergraduate institution with a record of academic achievement; and three to four years of relevant work experience, with a preference for relevant financial services or asset management experience. Corporate strategy or consulting experience in other industries will also be considered. The position is in New York City.

BlackRock is on the hunt for an associate for its Private Equity Partners group. The hire will be an active participant in the direct co-investment and fund selection process by performing screening, research, financial modeling and other quantitative and qualitative analyses as part of the investment team. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree; and three to six years of relevant work experience. The position is in Princeton, New Jersey.

Quad Partners is seeking a private equity associate. Duties include working as part of a small team to perform detailed analysis and prepare written investment recommendations for the firm’s investment committee; and origination of market research reports relating to the monitoring of existing investments and emerging trends in certain industry sectors, among other projects. Candidates should have two to four years of investment banking, equity research, private equity, or equivalent professional experience. Both MBA and pre-MBA candidates will be considered; CPA or CFA a plus. Experience and familiarity with education or technology companies is not required, but some demonstrable interest in the sector is a requirement. The position is in New York City.
