Private Equity Jobs of the Week: Apollo, Summit Partners and SIG are hiring

Summit Partners is searching for a vice president for its technology team. The hire will  lead thematic sector research, investment origination and diligence processes and spend significant time with portfolio company management teams. Also, he or she will attend portfolio company board meetings as an observer and potentially as a director. Candidates should have three plus years of relevant investing experience with a demonstrable deal track record, deep experience in the technology space and two to three years of experience at a top-tier investment bank, technology business or consulting firm. Additional technical experience is considered a plus (engineering, computer science, product management, etc.). The position is in Boston.

Apollo Global Management is looking to hire an associate for its private equity investment COOs team. Duties include assisting the private equity principal in all aspects of business management in addition to developing and delivering on private equity’s strategic ambitions. Immediate or near-term start date is strongly preferred. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree from a top undergraduate institution with a record of academic achievement. Also, they should have three to four years of relevant work experience, with a preference for relevant financial services or asset management experience; corporate strategy or consulting experience in other industries will also be considered. The position is in New York City.

Susquehanna International Group is seeking a private equity associate. Duties include deal sourcing, deal execution and ongoing portfolio management. Also, he or she will create acquisition target prospect lists and emailing/calling prospects’ business owners and/or executive teams to initiate meetings with investment team. Candidates should have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree; and one to three years of experience at an investment bank or consulting firm with significant financial modeling experience. The position is in Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania.

Brookfield Asset Management is on the hunt for a capital markets associate. The hire will be intimately involved in various aspects of deal structuring, deal execution, relationship management and various ad hoc projects. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree, preferably with a major in finance, accounting, economics, or related financial discipline with an outstanding record of academic achievement. Also, they should have two to four years of experience in a leveraged finance, loan or bond capital markets, loan negotiation, or financial sponsors role at an investment bank or lending platform. The position is in New York City.
