Private Equity Jobs of the Week: Bain Capital, Argosy and Blackstone are hiring

Blackstone is on the hunt for a family capital associate/vice president for its private wealth solutions. The hire will prospect and develop new relationships across the investor universe; and provide ongoing service, support and product education to prospective and current clients as the key point of contact and subject matter expert. Also, he or she will lead and execute research projects utilizing internal and external resources to increase client base. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree (an MBA/CFA is a plus); four to nine years of experience with ideally two to five years spent in an investment banking or capital markets, asset management position; and a Series 7 license. The position is in New York City.

Bain Capital is looking to hire an associate for its North American private equity group. Duties include evaluating investment opportunities, raising debt financing, managing outside diligence specialists and working with portfolio companies to drive value creation. In the investment evaluation phase, he or she will work as part of a small team to determine whether a company is an attractive acquisition candidate. Candidates should have four to five years of experience working in private equity, consulting, M&A and/or investment management. The position is in Boston.

Invesco is looking to hire a private credit associate. The hire will be involved in all aspects of evaluating, executing, closing and monitoring private debt investments sourced by senior origination professionals. Also, he or she will also be expected to assist with capital raising activities, internal presentations, market research, infrastructure development and future recruiting efforts. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree or MBA; and three years of work experience in a credit or private equity-related role. Strong preference will be shown toward applicants who have direct lending, private credit or leveraged finance in bank or equity investment experience in middle-market companies. The position is in New York City.

Argosy Healthcare Partners is seeking an associate or senior associate to join its investment team. Duties include analysis of investment opportunities across target healthcare sectors; and assistance with due diligence and all aspects of the investment underwriting process. The hire will provide market outreach to founders, executives and other constituents to develop relationships in target sectors. This is a career-track opportunity. Candidates should have four to eight years of relevant work experience in private equity or investment banking. The position is in Philadelphia.
