Duties include evaluating investment opportunities, raising debt financing, managing outside diligence specialists and working with portfolio companies to drive value creation. In the investment evaluation phase, he or she will work as part of a small team to determine whether a company is an attractive acquisition candidate. Candidates should have four to five years of experience working in private equity, consulting, M&A and/or investment management. The position is in Boston.
Invesco is looking to hire a private credit associate. The hire will be involved in all aspects of evaluating, executing, closing and monitoring private debt investments sourced by senior origination professionals. Also, he or she will also be expected to assist with capital raising activities, internal presentations, market research, infrastructure development and future recruiting efforts. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree or MBA; and three years of work experience in a credit or private equity-related role. Strong preference will be shown toward applicants who have direct lending, private credit or leveraged finance in bank or equity investment experience in middle-market companies.
