Candidates should have a background in finance and accounting, including leveraged buyout and other types of financial modeling, a fundamental understanding of the private equity transaction process, the use of leverage and debt products and the foundations of transaction structuring. Other requirements: a bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or a related degree from a top-tier university with superior academic performance; and two to three years of professional experience as an analyst in investment banking or private equity. The role will involve investing across both public and private opportunities and across market cap. The associate will work directly with the co-PMs. Candidates should have one to two years of investment banking work and one to two years of private equity/growth equity experience sourcing and executing private company transactions. Tikehau Investment Management is on the hunt for a private equity analyst. The hire will perform sector, strategic and financial analysis of target companies; build financial model and scenario analysis of company business plans; and attend management meetings. Also, he or she will be involved in the structuring and execution of financing, legal documentation and deal negotiation; and participate in the monitoring of portfolio companies. Candidates should have a degree from a business school or a university with a finance specialization; and a minimum of one year of experience in a permanent analyst role and be able to demonstrate transaction experience developed within private equity/M&A/corporate finance.
