The hire will have primary responsibility for leading private investing activities at RueOne within his or her area of expertise. Experience in all aspects of the investment process including sourcing, conducting due diligence on, structuring, negotiating, closing and monitoring private transactions is required. The ideal candidate will have previous senior investing roles, a verifiable track record and relationships with investors. The position is in New York City.
AIG Investments is searching for a head of ESG strategy. The hire will assume responsibility for and enhance AIG Investments’ existing ESG strategy and policy. Also, he or she will work closely with the investment teams to advance consistent and explicit integration of ESG risk factors into their decision process; and work with portfolio managers and research analysts to develop a systematic framework for collating, analyzing, and reporting ESG data across sectors. Candidates should have 10 plus years of experience in investment management or consultancy, at least five of which should be in an ESG or a sustainable investing role; and a high level of market sophistication and broad expertise in fixed income, private markets and real assets. Experience interfacing with institutional investors and consultants is preferred. The position is in New York City.
Alpine Energy Capital is looking to hire an investment associate. Duties include technical and financial evaluation of upstream energy assets; reviewing operating and financial statements; and conducting financial analysis, modeling and valuation. Also, he or she will conduct financial and energy industry-related research. Candidates should have three plus years of experience in upstream oil and gas at an E&P operator in engineering or corporate finance/development roles, investment banking, consulting, private equity, or a similar area; and a bachelor’s degree in a related field. Although the company is based in Houston, the position is currently remote.
Blackstone is searching for an associate for its equity capital markets unit. The hire will participate in a wide range of capital markets transactions including equity transactions, securitization, private market secured and unsecured credit deals, and interest rate and currency hedging transactions. He or she will be involved with the equity monetization and capital raising of portfolio companies across the entire Blackstone platform and regularly contribute to internal meetings, negotiations, financial modeling and strategic initiatives. Candidates should have one to three years of corporate finance experience with preference for equity capital markets experience; a high proficiency of Excel and PowerPoint; and knowledge of Dealogic, CapIQ and other ECM databases. The position is in New York City.
