Private Equity Jobs of the Week: Blackstone, Fifth Wall, Concord Health and Webster are hiring

Blackstone is seeking a vice president of co-investments for its strategic partners business unit. The hire will be responsible for leading the sourcing, analysis and execution of investment transactions for the co-investment platform. Also, he or she will be involved in all aspects of transaction due diligence, including valuation analysis, financial modeling and management meetings across all private equity asset classes. Candidates will have five to eight years of experience, with at least two to three years of private equity investing experience. The position is in New York City.

Fifth Wall Ventures is looking to hire a vice president of strategy and operations. The hire will play a key role in the management and coordination of Fifth Wall’s day-to-day operations and contribute to the firm’s growth efforts. Candidates should have four to six years of work experience with two years of experience at a leading private equity or venture capital firm and one to two years of experience in an operating role with significant experience. Webster Equity Partners is seeking a private equity associate. Responsibilities include evaluating new investments; preparing investment memos, financial models, financial projections and valuations; and conducting due diligence on prospective investment opportunities. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree and two or more years of professional work experience in investment banking or management consulting. Also, he or she should have a strong academic record from a top university with demonstrated quantitative and qualitative analytical ability. Concord Health Partners is on the hunt for a private equity associate. The hire will participate in all aspects of screening, executing, monitoring and exiting portfolio companies, which includes idea and deal sourcing, opportunity screening, detailed business due diligence and industry analysis, financial modeling, investment committee documentation, deal execution, liaising with third-party advisers and securing financing. Candidates should have at least two to three years of directly relevant experience in investment banking or private equity. The position is in Summit, New Jersey.

Columbia University is looking to hire an investments analyst. Responsibilities include contributing to all aspects of the manager selection process, including sourcing, due diligence and analysis of managers’ performance and portfolios. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent, preferably in finance, economics or a quantitative field. A minimum of two years related experience is required. The position is in New York City.

Banneker Partners is seeking private equity analysts for the firm’s software-focused investment team. Analysts will work with team members across offices to gain exposure to, and involvement in, all aspects of deal execution and company transformation, from sourcing to execution to post-transaction operations. Candidates should have one to three years of prior experience in consulting, banking, private equity/venture capital or an operating role at a technology company. Hires will have the opportunity to advance to more senior-level positions in the firm. The positions are based in San Francisco and Portland, Oregon.
