TZP Group is seeking a vice president for its impact investment team. The hire will be involved in all aspects of private equity investing including thesis generation, deal sourcing, evaluating new investments, underwriting and structuring investments, managing the due diligence process and ongoing monitoring of portfolio companies and exit of portfolio investments. Candidates should have six to eight years of experience (including prior private equity investing, plus investment banking and consulting); and advanced financial modeling skills, including MS Excel proficiency, capital structure analysis, debt service, etc. An MBA is preferred. The position is in New York City.
Cerberus Capital Management is on the hunt for a strategy and diligence senior associate. The hire will work on a variety of domestic and international deals related to strategic/commercial/operational due diligence and assist the firm’s operational private equity investment desk with evaluating potential acquisition targets. Also, he or she will spearhead the compilation and presentation of the due diligence analysis, as well as assisting the investment team in evaluating the impact of the analysis on their model. Candidates should have four to six plus years of overall work experience in M&A or M&A pre-deal service delivery at a top-tier strategy consulting firm, private equity firm, investment bank or a “world-class organization” plus a minimum of one year post-MBA experience. The position is based in New York City.
Blackstone is searching for a global fund finance associate for its private equity finance and accounting group. The hire will assist with reviewing daily cash and investment activity, monitor and report on credit facility activity, liaise with investors, prepare capital drawdowns and distributions and assist in reviewing quarterly capital account statements. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in accounting and four to six years of related experience in public accounting and/or private equity fund administration. A CPA is preferred but not required. The position is in New York City.
