The hire will provide investment expertise for the private equity industry in the areas of market analysis, strategy and fund and co-investment portfolio management. He or she will be responsible for assisting with co-managing a portfolio of domestic and international private equity partnerships and co-investments. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics or a related field as well as a CFA, CAIA or another industry certification. Applicants should have five plus years of professional experience within private equity, including all aspects of the underwriting/due diligence and execution processes for co-investments or direct investments. The hybrid position is in West Sacramento.
Guardian Capital Partners seeking to hire multiple analysts and associates for its investment team. The firm’s analysts and associates are involved in all aspects of Guardian’s investment efforts, from evaluating and executing new investments to ongoing support of existing portfolio companies. Duties include assisting with new investment analyses and due diligence. Candidates should have an undergraduate degree from a reputable institution; and one to four years of investment banking, strategy consulting, or transaction advisory services experience. The positions are in Wayne, Pennsylvania.
Bain Capital is on the hunt for a North American private equity associate. The hire will learn how to evaluate investment opportunities through the application of fundamental strategic analysis in addition to the more traditional financial modeling. Associates may also be exposed to a variety of portfolio company issues (e.g. potential add-on investments, liquidity options, improving core operations) and will gain unique operating experience. The position is a two-year commitment. Candidates should have a strong academic record at a top undergraduate school; and two plus years of work experience in management consulting and/or investment management. The position is in Boston.
