The hire will lead the closings of investment purchases, distributions and dispositions of existing investments; and lead the analysis of potential transactions with the assistance of legal counsel and tax advisors to determine the best structuring for each investment. Also, he or she will ensure the funds will be able to meet all funding requirements through either capital drawdowns from investors or from short-term borrowing on the fund credit facility. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; a CPA, CFA or MBA is strongly desired. Also, they should have 10 to 12 years’ of prior experience in accounting and/or finance. The position is in Washington, D.C.

The hire will focus on playing a strong role in the execution of actionable investment opportunities, including investment screening, financial modeling and scenario testing, business and industry research, preparing briefing and investment memos, performing due diligence, and portfolio company management. Candidates should have two to four years of prior experience in a financially-oriented position. An MBA is a plus but not required depending on undergraduate education and prior work experience. The position is in Omaha.
