The hire will be responsible for developing and implementing the Zurich Insurance Group’s private equity investment strategy by sourcing, selecting and managing private equity funds and co-investments for the investing insurance companies located in the U.S., Europe and Latin America. Also, he or she will contribute to the decision making for other alternative investments managed by ZAAM, such as real estate and hedge funds. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics, finance or law; fifteen or more years of business-related experience; and deep experience in a private equity investing role. The position is in New York City.
Dorilton is on the hunt for a vice president of investments. The hire will identify, evaluate, negotiate and execute investments of producing oil & gas assets and middle-market services businesses. Also, he or she will lead transaction execution, including negotiating with sellers, managing due diligence and presenting to the investments committee. Candidates should have strong investment experience including eight to 11 years of relevant work experience; and at least five years of experience in investment banking, private equity or another financial and valuation analysis function within the oil & gas space. An MBA from a top-tier program is preferred, but not required. The position is in Houston.

The hire will support the execution of the sustainable energies group strategy by helping to manage/optimize existing platforms/partnerships, evaluating new market opportunities, and executing new investments. Candidates should have one to four years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity or corporate development with an emphasis in sustainable energy investments/transactions.
