A bachelor’s degree is required, preferably with a concentration in finance, real estate or accounting. Candidates should have five plus years of experience working in real estate private equity, advisory, finance or real estate development. The position is in New York City.
PGIM, the global investment management businesses of Prudential Financial Inc, is looking to hire a senior associate for its infrastructure finance team. Duties include generating new deal flow and managing the credit review process, including financial modeling, creating and presenting written and oral analyses and coordinating internal approvals. Also, he or she will determine the appropriate credit quality, pricing decisions and investment amount for a particular company/transaction; and develop and negotiate the terms and structure of Prudential’s investment and assisting with the documentation process. Candidates should have a minimum of three years of previous investment or similar business experience and an advanced degree, preferably an MBA, or four to seven years of investment or similar business experience. The position is in Newark, New Jersey.
Ares Management is seeking an associate for its direct lending group – portfolio management department. The hire will be responsible for monitoring 15 to 20 corporate debt and equity investments, providing assistance to deal teams with assigned investments and general portfolio management. A bachelor’s degree is required. Candidates must have finance or accounting experience with exposure to valuation methods a priority. The position is in New York City.
CPP Investment Board is on the hunt for an analyst/associate for its financial institutions direct private equity team. The hire will analyze potential investment opportunities; conduct research and due diligence in collaboration with advisors; and build financial models to assist in investment evaluation, structuring and financing. Also, he or she will actively participate in the investment process; and develop relationships with management teams as part of monitoring portfolio companies. Candidates should have experience in FIG investment banking/FIG private equity or related work experience and an interest in FIG investing. They should also have excellent research, financial modeling, analytical and valuation skills, including experience evaluating and building LBO models. The position is in Toronto.
