Candidates should have a deep understanding of financial markets and investment instruments; and five plus years of experience in asset management, private equity or hedge funds. Blackstone is seeking a private equity associate for its global fund finance group. Duties include assisting with reviewing daily cash and investment activity; monitoring and reporting on credit facility activity; preparation of capital drawdowns; and interacting with investors. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in accounting; and four to six years of related experience in public accounting and/or private equity fund administration. A CPA is preferred but not required. The position is in New York City.
Neuberger Berman is looking to hire a senior associate for its secondary private equity team. Duties include screening and conducting due diligence on secondary private equity investment opportunities; and performing in-depth research and financial analysis on companies and assets from various stages, sectors, and geographies. Also, he or she will prepare due diligence materials, screening and investment committee memos; and interact with external parties, such as industry experts and investment bankers, as well as with other areas of the firm internally, to enhance due diligence insights and identify new opportunities. Candidates should be current or recent MBA graduates; and have at least four years of professional experience in top-tier investment banking and/or private equity. Buyside experience is strongly preferred. The position is in New York City.
JMC Investment is searching for a senior associate. The hire will manage the day-to-day deal flow marketing initiatives, which include coordinating all deal flow matters between junior and senior management of the team, running weekly marketing meetings and improving internal data bases. Also, he or she will manage the deal investment process as directed, such as early stage review, returns modeling, offer preparation, investment committee presentations, and advisor confirmatory due diligence. Candidates should have an undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting, economics, finance, mathematics or a related field. Also, applicants should have a minimum of three years of experience in investment banking, leveraged finance, private equity, equity research, asset management, or accounting. It is preferred that the candidate have exposure to the industrial and/or aerospace industry, but not required. The position is in the New York City metropolitan area.
