Vista Equity Partners’ credit platform Vista Credit Partners is seeking a compliance manager. The hire will assist in all key facets of implementing and maintaining a best in class dedicated compliance function for VCP, which will include, but not be limited to: assisting in the drafting, updating, and revision of firm policies and procedures; and monitoring VCP’s trading activities and advice on compliance restrictions. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; four plus years of experience working in a compliance function at an SEC-registered investment adviser or at a regulator or law firm. The candidate must possess a thorough understanding of the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 and certain aspects of the Investment Company Act. Experience in private equity, private credit and/or hedge fund compliance is strongly preferred. The position is in New York County, New York.
Morgan Stanley’s Expansion Capital is looking to hire an associate. The hire will have the opportunity to evaluate new investment opportunities; conduct in-depth sector research; analyze and model financial projections; develop valuation and return views; and source prospective companies and develop investment themes. Candidates should have two to four years of experience from a leading investment banking analyst program or a private investing platform. A bachelor’s degree in business, economics, accounting or related discipline is preferred. The position is in San Francisco.
Goldman Sachs’ Merchant Banking Division is searching for a program associate for its energy and infrastructure investing team. Duties include complex financial modeling; researching and assessing potential investment opportunities; assisting in developing investment theses; and participating in structuring and negotiating transaction documentation. Also, the hire will build relationships with management teams and partners; prepare investment committee materials; and monitor new and existing portfolio investments. Candidates should have two plus years of investment banking experience along with an additional two plus years of direct investment experience. Graduation from a top tier MBA program is a plus. The position is in New York City.

The hire will complete financial analyses; run financial models; make customer reference checks; and carry out competitive analyses. Associates are typically involved in closing one to three investments per year and work within a team of three to four investment professionals. The associate position is a three-year commitment.
