Private Equity Jobs of the Week: Invesco, HarbourVest and Z Capital are hiring

Invesco is seeking to hire a head of global fundraising of private markets. Duties include building relations and coordination with all Invesco private market teams; leading the coordination and preparation of new product approvals; and leading in the research and development of new strategies ensuring that the platform is pro-active not reactive. He or she will work with CPM, investor relations and portfolio management teams to prepare for client pitches; and drive initial investor due diligence working with internal and external team members. Candidates should have previous experience in investment management and a demonstrated record of success in effectively partnering with various constituencies and stakeholders as needed. The position is in New York.

Z Capital is looking for an associate to join its investment team. Duties include performing financial analysis supporting investment decisions; providing analytical support to senior management on corporate and strategic initiatives; assisting in the development, execution and maintenance of business plans; and conducting due diligence on prospective investment opportunities. Candidates should have an undergraduate degree in technical/quantitative program of study and a minimum of two years of experience in financial modeling or investment banking. The position is New York.

HarbourVest Partners is seeking to hire pre-MBA associates for its primary fund-of-funds investment group. Duties include performing analysis on potential and existing primary partnership fund investment opportunities. Also, he or she will conduct due diligence meetings with buyout, distressed debt, mezzanine and venture capital managers. Candidates should have two to three years of institutional limited partner, consulting or investment banking experience. Potential hires should also have a top academic background (both undergraduate school and GPA). The position is a two- to three-year program that will begin either immediately or summer 2019. It is based in Boston.

Coller Capital is searching for an associate. The hire will participate in and contribute to all aspects of the deal process with responsibility for initial quantitative and qualitative analysis of portfolio companies and funds. Candidates should have 18 months to three years of relevant experience within a relevant industry. A good knowledge of the private equity secondaries market is desirable. The position is in New York.

Performance Equity Management is on the hunt for an investment analyst. The hire will analyze and monitor performance of fund managers and underlying portfolio companies; support the diligence process evaluating new private equity fund investments, direct co-investments and secondary transactions; and prepare, analyze and explain historical and projected financial information. Also, he or she will produce written reports and presentations for the investment committee summarizing investment recommendations and providing analytical support. Candidates must have a strong academic record (minimum GPA 3.2), an undergraduate degree from a top university and a minimum of two years of investment and/or analytical experience. A background in asset management, equity research or consulting/accounting is preferred. Pre-MBA applicants are preferred. The position is in Greenwich, Connecticut.
