Duties include marketing and distributing deals; creating and editing deal summaries; generating marketing materials; and assisting with due diligence. Candidates should have a BS or BA in marketing/finance/economics; seven plus years of experience in alternative investment fundraising, investor relations, business development, client relationship management and/or a product specialist role; and FINRA licenses of Series 7, or 79 or 82 and 63. The position will either be based in Chicago or New York City.

Duties include researching and evaluating companies for potential investment and/or strategic opportunities; supporting deal screening, evaluation, due diligence and execution; conducting industry research and competitive analysis; and performing financial modeling/valuation of investment opportunities. Candidates should have two to three years of experience in PE/VC or a related field; and an appreciation of the rapidly advancing technology landscape and the vast opportunity for financial services. A bachelor’s degree is preferred. The position is in New York City.
Encore Consumer Capital is looking to hire a pre-MBA investment associate. The hire will assume a lead role in the modeling, financial analysis and valuation of potential transactions; prepare presentations and investment memoranda for the firm’s analysis of transactions; and play an integral role in the transaction team through the due diligence and closing process. The position is a two- year commitment; however, “exceptional performers” will be considered for a third year. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree. The position is in San Francisco.
