Private Equity Jobs of the Week: LLR Partners, Apollo and Goldman Sachs are hiring

Gen II Fund Services LLC is seeking a private equity director to manage private equity funds. The hire will direct the day-to-day accounting and fund administration for multiple investment sponsors; and provide extensive hands on involvement in preparing and reviewing work papers, investments and accruals. Candidates should have seven plus years of fund accounting experience in either a private equity fund, private equity fund administrator or another financial institution where the candidate has gained financial products knowledge. Also required: five plus years of supervisory experience; and a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or economics. The position is in Dallas.

LLR Partners is looking to hire a senior associate/vice president for its healthcare investment team. The hire will play a lead role in originating, evaluating and closing new investments; and identify and execute research driven investment theses. Also, he or she should have a demonstrated ability to understand the financial and strategic drivers of businesses; evaluate opportunities against LLR investment criteria; and play a lead role quarterbacking diligence and managing third- party diligence vendors. Candidates should also possess four to six years of directly relevant private equity or investment experience; and an undergraduate degree from a top-tier university with exceptional academic achievement. The position is in Philadelphia.

Apollo Global Management is looking to hire an associate for its real estate private equity team. The hire will drive analytical and project support for all investment activities; construct financial models, sensitivity analyses, comparable analyses and other discrete financial analyses as well as financial and asset due diligence and industry research; and conduct property diligence and maintain market or sector coverage with travel as required. Also, he or she will participate in deal financings and closings, including the drafting and negotiation of legal documentation. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree from a top undergraduate institution, plus three to five years of experience in real estate investment banking and/or principal investing. The position is in New York City.

Goldman Sachs is on the hunt for an associate for its alternative energy investing group. Duties include researching and evaluating new sectors and investment ideas; and analyzing investment opportunities across asset classes including structured private equity, mezzanine, tax equity, project financing and debt. Also, he or she will be involved in financial modeling for a wide spectrum of equity and credit transactions. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in finance, economics or a related field. Also required: three years of experience in the job offered or in a related position. The position is in New York City.
