Candidates must also have a proven track record of prior successful investments and a demonstrated ability to manage all aspects of an M&A transaction (i.e. due diligence, documentation, negotiation, financing, etc.). The position is based in Overland Park, Kansas.
Macquarie is seeking a vice president in the Latin America energy principal investments team. The hire will be responsible for leading the execution of the transactions through the full life-cycle: from initial analysis, presentation to investment/risk committees, overseeing the financial modeling, due-diligence, structuring (financial, tax, level), negotiation of documentation, financing and execution. Candidates should have seven to eight years of experience in renewables’ energy projects in Latin America, having been involved in M&A, financing or development. Fluency in English and Spanish, a master’s degree and prior experience in renewables energy in Latin America are requirements for this role. Portuguese is an added plus but not necessary. The position is in New York City.
BlackRock is on the hunt for an associate for its infrastructure solutions business. The hire will support the origination, underwriting, execution and ongoing management of infrastructure investments (primaries, secondaries, and direct co-investments), predominantly with a focus on North America and Latin America. Candidates should have an undergraduate degree with strong academic track record; and three plus years of relevant investment experience or financial training (e.g. infrastructure investment management, private equity, leveraged finance, investment banking, corporate M&A, and/or management consulting). The position is in New York City.
Round Hill Capital is searching for an associate. The hire will assist the team in sourcing and assessing new transaction opportunities; financing or disposition recommendations; updating on existing investments or portfolio status; and taking the lead in preparing and presenting investment proposals. He or she will manage acquisition due diligence processes and closings with outside counterparties and assist with asset management and value-add execution of existing portfolio assets. Candidates should have experience in an analytical role within investment banking, private equity or another related finance or investment position within a related geographical region. Also, he or she should have strong quantitative background with significant experience with financial modelling, valuations and financial analysis, ideally gained in a corporate finance, related-business or accounting environment. The position is in Florida.
