Z Capital Group is seeking an operating analyst for its private equity team. Duties include working with portfolio companies to obtain monthly financial reports on a timely basis and monitoring of portfolio company month-to-month reports, timetables, issues and resolutions. Also, he or she will analyze monthly financial reports for unusual matters and trends; proactively following up with management teams as appropriate; and reviewing findings with investment/operating teams to assist with development of action plans, when necessary. Candidates should have one to three years of experience as a financial analyst. Direct experience and/or consulting for middle market private equity firms are preferred. He or she should be either a CPA or CFA. The position is in New York City.
