Private Equity Jobs of the Week: NYC Office of Comptroller, IMP and Access Holdings are hiring

NYC Office of the Comptroller is seeking a senior investment officer who will report to the private equity asset class head. The hire will lead initiatives to identify, review and evaluate prospective investment opportunities; and conduct due diligence on investment opportunities. Also, he or she will develop a framework for analyzing the historical track record of prospective investment opportunities and other financial analyses. Candidates should have experience in investment manager sourcing and due diligence, portfolio management, structuring, and monitoring; and professional certification such as CFA or CAIA, or equivalent. Also applicants should have a master’s degree from an accredited college or university in business, economics, finance, accounting or a closely related field; and four years of experience or an undergraduate degree and six years of experience. The hybrid position is in New York.

Investment Management Partners is searching for a private equity investment associate. The hire will assist the team in sourcing, underwriting and monitoring investment opportunities. Candidates should have two to four years of experience in investment banking, private equity or consulting; or two to three years of private equity exposure. The hybrid position is in the metropolitan New York City area.

Access Holdings is looking to hire a senior investments associate. The hire will profile investment themes and approaches and lead due diligence and analysis. Also, he or she will conduct market and industry research, while qualifying investment opportunities and providing weekly updates. Candidates should have an MBA (upcoming 2022 graduation) from a top-tier institution; and three to five years of investment banking, private equity, corporate development or consulting experience; or four to six years of transaction advisory services experience. The position is in Baltimore.

SeedInvest at Circle is on the hunt for a venture capital associate. The hire will be responsible for sourcing early- and growth-stage investment opportunities across a range of sectors, stages and geographies for potential listing on the www.seedinvest.com investment platform. Candidates should have five plus years of experience in a sales-heavy environment (e.g., investment banking, consulting, enterprise sales, or sourcing-heavy VC/PE); and extended experience sourcing investment opportunities at a VC/growth fund or generating sales opportunities at a B2B firm. Also, applicants should have have prior experience working at or with startups; and hold Series 82 and 63 licenses. The remote position will be based in the East Coast time zone.
