Private Equity Jobs of the Week: Salt Creek, Oaktree and Turn/River are hiring

Salt Creek Capital is seeking to hire a principal. The hire will play a pivotal role in developing and negotiating acquisitions as well as the value creation process for a typical three to seven-year hold period.  Over time, he or she will be expected to lead and manage (at the BOD level) those deals developed and acquired through the principal’s efforts. Candidates should have at least three plus years of lower middle market private equity, independent sponsor or search fund experience, and/or at least five years of lower middle market investment banking or M&A advisory experience. They should have a BA or BS degree with a preference for degrees in business, finance or accounting, management, economics or related fields; a master’s degree, MBA or other advanced degrees is a plus but not required. The position is in Woodside, California.

Turn/River Capital is searching for a director of investment development. The hire will identify software companies open to growth capital and majority buyout capital from a private equity firm; and grow and nurture relationships with target software company CEOs, founders and shareholders. Also, he or she will direct junior analysts to amplify sourcing efforts and work closely with partners and the investment team to close new software investments. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of five years of experience in investment banking or a sourcing/business development role at an investment firm. The position is in San Francisco.

Oaktree Capital Management is on the hunt for a senior vice president of direct lending to cover the Southeast. The hire will originate and source private debt opportunities; assist with initial screening and due diligence of new opportunities; and structure and negotiate prospective deals with borrowers. Also, he or she will facilitate execution of credit agreements and monitor ongoing performance of investments. A bachelor’s degree is required; an MBA or other advanced degree is preferred. Candidates should have a minimum of seven to 10 years of private lending origination experience. The position is in New York City.

Zenyth Partners is seeking a private equity associate. The hire will lead financial analysis and commercial due diligence on new investment opportunities; support transaction execution; and support portfolio companies with M&A execution and strategic analysis. Candidates should have an up to three years of management consulting or investment banking experience. The position is in Great Neck, New York.
