Duties include assisting in all key facets of implementing and maintaining a compliance function for VCP, which will include, but not be limited to: assisting in the drafting, updating, and revision of firm policies and procedures; monitoring VCP’s trading activities and advise on compliance restrictions; and managing compliance workflows in the firm’s operating management and portfolio management systems. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; four plus years of experience working in a compliance function at an SEC-registered investment adviser, or at a regulator or law firm. The candidate must possess a thorough understanding of the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 and certain aspects of the Investment Company Act. Experience in private equity, private credit and/or hedge fund compliance is strongly preferred. The position is in New York City.
Turn/River Capital is looking to hire a senior investment associate. The hire will execute growth and private equity transactions end to end as a junior deal lead, managing analysts and associates and coordinating with the senior partner to manage the deal-making process. Also, he or she will build financial models, researching industry dynamics and writing investment memorandums for potential investment opportunities. Candidates should have an undergraduate degree from a top-tier institution with top grades; one to three years of investment banking experience (ideally within software/ technology group); and one to two years of growth/private equity experience as an associate. The position is in San Francisco.
