Private Equity Jobs of the Week: Wellington, ArrowMark and Blackstone are hiring

Wellington Management is looking to hire a private equity vice president of healthcare services and medtech. The hire will will develop relationships within the healthcare venture capital and crossover investor communities. He or she will source, track and evaluate potential healthcare services/medtech investment opportunities, conduct in-depth due diligence of select deals, and develop investment recommendations. Candidates should have a minimum of seven to 10 years of relevant experience in a private markets investment role, preferably at a venture capital or private equity firm; an MBA or CFA is preferred. The position is in Boston.

ArrowMark Partners is seeking a direct lending investment professional. The hire will work closely with the senior investment team in all aspects of the business including sourcing, analyzing and closing new investment opportunities along with ongoing portfolio management. Candidates should have four to seven years of related experience, which can include leveraged finance, M&A, private equity and/or sponsor coverage, with preference for candidates with relevant experience in private direct lending as a principal investor. They should have undergraduate degrees, with CFA, CPA and/or MBA being a plus. The position is in Denver.

NaviMed Capital is on the hunt for a private equity associate. The hire will perform private equity investment analysis, source new investment opportunities, manage transaction diligence and execution, support portfolio analysis/monitoring and help support other key aspects of the business. He or she will be a member of a small investment team that evaluates all investment opportunities. Candidates should have a minimum of one to three years of pre-MBA healthcare private equity, lower/middle-market lending or healthcare investment banking experience; pre-MBA applicants only. The position is in the Washington, D.C. area.

Blackstone is seeking a 2019 private equity senior associate. Duties include investment research, financial analysis, valuation and modeling, business diligence and assistance in the execution and financing of transactions. Candidates must be currently enrolled as an MBA student; anticipated graduation date should be spring 2019. Resume should be in a PDF format and must include expected graduation month/year. A solid knowledge of business strategy, finance and accounting is desirable. Prior experience in private equity is preferred. The position is in New York City.
