Wellington Management is on the hunt for a private equity principal. Duties include generating deal flow, evaluating potential consumer investment opportunities, conducting in-depth due diligence of select deals, developing investment recommendations and monitoring portfolio positions. Candidates should a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in a private markets investment role, preferably at a venture capital or private equity firm; an MBA/CFA is preferred. The position is in San Francisco.

Cantor Fitzgerald is searching for an equity research associate. The hire will work directly with the senior biotech research analyst on many aspects of the research process including performing financial analysis and due diligence, writing investment-driven research reports, developing and fielding industry surveys and undertaking a wide array of industry analyses and competitive assessments. An MBA and/or CFA would be a plus, but not required. Candidates should have prior biotechnology or pharmaceutical experience; and one-year work experience in investment research (buy-side or sell-side), with a focus on healthcare and/or biopharma highly preferred. Series 7,63, 86, and 87 licenses will be needed if not already licensed. The position is in New York City.

StepStone is seeking a private equity secondaries associate/senior associate. Duties include deal-sourcing, screening and conducting due diligence on private equity secondary and direct investments, interacting with fund managers/portfolio company management teams to conduct in-depth portfolio and asset-level underwriting and analysis and performing quantitative and qualitative research and financial modelling/analysis on companies and assets across stages. Candidates should have a stellar academic record (university and GPA) and two to six years of top-tier investment banking, consulting and/or private equity experience. The position is in New York.

Sixpoint Partners is looking to hire a fund placement analyst for the project management team. The hire will assist on the completion of three to five fundraising mandates at any point in time. An analyst in the business will be expected to prepare marketing and pitch materials for prospective clients as well as private placement memoranda, data rooms and investor presentation for firm clients. Also, he or she will be expected to respond to qualitative and quantitative investor due diligence requests and manage investor reports. Candidates should have one to two years prior experience in finance, ideally with a background in private placements, investment banking, alternative asset investor relations or similar fields; an major in finance, business administration or economics is preferred, but not required. The position is in New York City.
