Private Equity Jobs of the Week: Wellington, Invesco and Concord Health are hiring

RueOne Investments is seeking a venture capital/private equity senior partner. The hire will have primary responsibility for leading private investing activities at RueOne within their area of expertise. Experience in all aspects of the investment process including sourcing, conducting due diligence on, structuring, negotiating, closing and monitoring private transactions is required. The ideal candidate will previously have held senior investing roles as well as a verifiable track record and relationships with investors. The position is in New York City.

Wellington Management is searching for a lead venture capital director. The hire will build, launch and lead a new venture capital fund that invests both directly in private companies led by Black Heritage founders and minority-owned venture funds. In addition to generating deal flow, he or she will conduct in-depth due diligence of select deals, develop investment recommendations, and monitor portfolio positions. Candidates should have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in a private markets investment role, preferably at a venture capital firm; and established industry relationships and network to source deal flow among Black Heritage entrepreneurs and minority-owned venture capital funds. The position is in Boston.

Concord Health Partners is looking to hire a private equity associate. The hire will centrally participate in all aspects of screening, executing, monitoring and exiting portfolio companies, including idea and deal sourcing, opportunity screening, detailed business due diligence and industry analysis, financial modeling, investment committee documentation, deal execution, liaising with third-party advisors and securing financing. Candidates should have at least two to three years of directly relevant experience in investment banking or private equity. The position is in Summit, New Jersey.

Invesco is searching for a pre-MBA fund of funds associate. Duties include evaluating primary and secondary interests in venture capital and buyout funds as well as direct and co-investment opportunities into companies; and maintaining databases of funds and direct investment opportunities. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree from a top institution required. Also, they should have a minimum one to three years in venture capital, investment banking, management consulting, investment management or technology startup experience. The position is in New York City.
