Z Capital is on the hunt for a director on its private equity investment team. Duties include assisting in the underwriting and oversight of portfolio companies; and assisting in due diligence activities specific to potential acquisitions. Also, he or she will assist in sourcing and vetting relevant middle-market private equity investments. Candidates should have five to seven years of experience in the sourcing, acquisition, value creation and exiting of middle-market companies. The position is in New York City.

Firstmark is looking to add an investor to its team. Duties include sourcing and analyzing new investments, managing the investment pipeline, researching new markets and helping investment partners manage their board responsibilities. Candidates should have three to six years of experience in venture capital at a tech company or in tech-focused investment banking or consulting. The position is in New York City.

Fortress Investment Group is seeking a private equity associate. The hire will support the team in identifying and researching new investment opportunities while assisting in maintaining and monitoring corporate investments; and develop flexible corporate underwriting models and supporting analysis that drive views on corporate valuation. Also, he or she will conduct financial and business diligence. Candidates should have three to five years of experience in private equity, investment banking, equity research or a related field. They should also have a bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, mathematics or a related field. The position is in New York City.

NaviMed Capital is seeking a pre-MBA associate. The hire will perform private equity investment analysis, source new investment opportunities, manage transaction diligence and execution, support portfolio analysis/monitoring and help support other key aspects of the business. Candidates should have a minimum of two to four years of experience in private equity, investment banking or other healthcare M&A. Healthcare experience is preferred but not required. The position is a two-year commitment. Exceptional performers may be considered for a third year. The position is in Washington, D.C.
