Blackstone is seeking a private equity secondaries associate for its Strategic Partners unit. Primary job responsibilities include extensive valuation analysis and financial modeling of portfolio companies and funds across all private equity asset classes. The ideal candidate will have four to six years of experience, with two to three years of investment banking, direct investing or secondary private equity experience. The position is in New York City.

Zurich North America is searching for a private equity associate. The hire plays a key part in identifying funds and direct private capital investment opportunities, performing investment analysis and due diligence on investments and recommending investment and divestment opportunities to the private equity team and to the ZAAM Investment Committee. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree and five or more years of experience in the investments area or three or more years of private equity investing experience. The position is in New York City.

Dorilton is looking to hire an associate. The hire will play a vital role in sourcing and executing investments, valuation analyses and strategic planning. Candidates should have strong investment experience including two to three years of relevant work experience; and at least two years of experience in investment banking, private equity or another financial and valuation analysis function. Experience in the healthcare and industrial sectors is preferred, but not required. Experience in venture capital or growth capital is a plus. The position is on a hybrid schedule and based in the metropolitan New York City area.

Wellington Management is on the hunt for a venture associate for its biomedical innovation fund. The hire will source, track and evaluate potential biotechnology investments, conduct in-depth due diligence on both the scientific and business merits of select deals and develop investment recommendations. In addition, he or she will curate the deal flow from initial contact through exit and will assist with investment and strategic decision making. Candidates should have a minimum of two to three years of relevant experience in clinical medicine, biomedical research, investment banking, consulting, equity research, business development, biotech startup and/or venture capital investing; and a superior academic credentials and track record. An MD or PhD in a biomedical discipline is strongly preferred. An MBA is desirable. The position is in Boston.
