PSP Partners taps Skinner as new CEO

Skinner's new role follows a career at William Blair & Company where he most recently served as a partner and vice chair of investment banking.

PSP Partners has named Jon Skinner as its next CEO. His appointment becomes effective in January. Current CEO Kevin Poorman will transition to senior advisor.

Skinner’s new role follows a career at William Blair & Company where he most recently served as a partner and vice chair of investment banking. From 2015 to 2020, Skinner was head of technology investment banking at William Blair. Prior to joining William Blair in 2006, Skinner worked as both an investment banker and an attorney.

Skinner is a graduate of Brown University and Boston College Law School.

Based in Chicago, PSP Partners is a private equity firm founded by its Chairman Penny Pritzker, a former U.S. Secretary of Commerce.
