STG to acquire McGraw Hill Construction for $320 mln

Symphony Technology Group has agreed to buy McGraw Hill Construction, a provider of data and insights for construction professionals, for $320 million in cash.

The seller is McGraw Hill Financial. The deal is expected to be completed during the fourth quarter of 2014.

Evercore Partners served as financial advisor to McGraw Hill Financial on this transaction.

This acquisition comes several months after STG bought healthcare data integration and analytics company MDdatacor from Noridian Mutual Insurance Company. No financial terms were disclosed for that deal.
In March 2012, STG closed its fourth fund at about $870 million.
