PriceSpider, which is backed by Frontier Capital, has acquired ORIS Intelligence, a provider of insights for manufacturers. No financial terms were disclosed. Vaquero Capital LLC served as financial adviser to ORIS on the transaction.
Arsenal Capital Partners said July 30 that it acquired Seal For Life Industries LLC for $328 million. Berry Global Group Inc is the seller. Seal For Life’s portfolio of brands offers corrosion protection and sealing solutions.
FFL Partners said July 30 that it completed a majority investment in ALKU. Financial terms weren’t announced. ALKU, of Andover, Massachusetts, provides consulting and staffing services.
Morgan Stanley Expansion Capital has sold its stake in HighQ, a collaboration platform for legal and regulated industries, to Thomson Reuters. No financial terms were disclosed.
Alpine Investors is buying Frank Gay Services. Best Home Services, an Alpine portfolio company, and Frank Gay will be part of Apex Service Partners, Alpine’s new platform. Financial terms weren’t announced. Frank Gay, of Orlando, Florida, is a HVAC, plumbing and electrical services and repairs company.
An investor consortium led by Leonard Green & Partners LP and Ares Management Corporation has acquired Press Ganey Associates Inc, a provider of safety, quality, patient experience and workforce engagement solutions for healthcare organizations. No financial terms were disclosed. GIC, British Columbia Investment Management Corporation and a wholly owned subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority are other investors that participated in this transaction. McNally Capital said July 24 that it invested in Altamira Technologies. Financial terms weren’t announced. ClearSky and Nio Advisors LLC invested in the deal alongside McNally. Altamira provides analytics and engineering solutions to the U.S. national security community.
Advent International is buying Cobham plc for about 4 billion pounds ($5 billion), according to a statement. Cobham, of the U.K., makes electronic warfare systems and communications for military vehicles, Reuters reported.
Equistone Partners Europe said July 24 that it agreed to buy Heras from CRH plc. Company management is buying a minority stake in the business. Financial terms weren’t announced. Heras, of Oirschot in the Netherlands, provides mobile and permanent perimeter protection systems and products including fencing systems, manual and automated gates, hostile vehicle mitigation barriers and electronic perimeter detection products.
Keensight Capital said July 24 that it agreed to buy a majority of Smile. Financial terms weren’t announced. Smile, of Paris, provides digital open-source services, including consultancy, integration and outsourcing.
