New York City and Toronto-based Bunch, a party app for mobile games, has secured US$3.85 million in funding. The capital infusion will be used to to accelerate product development and expand partnerships and integrations. Bunch is backed by LVP, Tencent, Supercell, Riot, Miniclip, Founders Fund, Betaworks and North Zone.
Vayyar Imaging, an Israeli 4D radar imaging company, has secured $109 million in Series D funding. Koch Disruptive Technologies led the round with participation from other investors that included Regal Four, Battery Ventures, Bessemer Ventures, ICV, ITI, Walden Riverwood and Claltech.
Austin-based Pensa Systems, a provider of autonomous perception systems, has raised $10 million in funding. Signia Venture Partners and ATX Venture Partners led the round. In addition to the funding, ATX Managing Director Chris Shonk has joined Pensa’s board of directors.
Seattle-based Give InKind, a social support platform, has raised $1.5 million in funding. The investors included Trilogy Equity Partners, Madrona Venture Group, SeaChange Fund, Keeler Investments, FAM Fund, Grubstakes, Alliance of Angels and X Factor Ventures.
Samasource, a provider of training data for AI technologies, has raised $14.8 million in Series A funding. Ridge Ventures led the round with participation from Social Impact Ventures, Bestseller Foundation and Bluecrest Limited Capital.
Cambridge, Massachusetts-based Superpedestrian, a transportation robotics company, has secured $20 million in financing. The investors included Spark Capital, General Catalyst, Hanaco Ventures and Empire Angels.
Truvian Sciences, a provider of routine health testing services, has secured $27.1 million in Series B financing. GreatPoint Ventures led the round with participation from other investors that included DNS Capital, Tao Capital Partners and Domain Associates.
Cambridge, Massachusetts-based Werewolf Therapeutics, an oncology biotherapeutics company, has secured $56 million in Series A financing. MPM Capital and Longwood Fund led the round with participation from Taiho Ventures, Arkin Bio Ventures, UPMC Enterprises and DC Investment Partners. In conjunction with the funding, Werewolf Therapeutics has named Dr Daniel J. Hicklin as president and CEO.
Fermented Sciences, a maker of the organic hard kombucha brand Flying Embers, has secured $25 million in Series B funding. Ecosystem Integrity Fund and PowerPlant Ventures led the round.
Alhambra, California-based Parabol, a new meeting app for agile teams and remote workers, has raised $4 million in funding. CRV led the round with participation from Haystack and Slack Fund.
