Seattle and Los Angeles-based Mythical Games, a next-generation game technology studio, has raised $19 million in funding. Javelin Venture Partners led the round with participation from other investors that included Avon Ventures, Alumni Ventures, Hashed and Struck Capital.
London-based Causaly, a AI company that teaches computers to read, understand and interpret biomedical knowledge, has secured $4.8 million in Series A funding. Pentech Ventures and EBRD Venture Capital led the round with participation from Marathon Venture Capital.
Seattle-based Picnic, a provider of food production technology and robotics-as-a-service solutions, has secured $5 million in funding. Creative Ventures led the round.
CyberCube Analytics, a cyber risk analytics company for the insurance industry, has raised $35 million in Series B funding. HSCM Bermuda and ForgePoint Capital led the round. In addition to the funding, Michael Millette, founder and managing partner at HSCM Bermuda, will join CyberCube’s board of directors.
Houston-based GoExpedi, an e-commerce, supply chain and analytics company, has raised $25 million in Series B funding. Top Tier Capital Partners led the round.
Dream Games, a Turkish mobile gaming company, has secured $7.5 million in funding. Makers Fund led the round with participation from Balderton Capital.
Neon Pagamentos said Nov. 19 that it raised R$400 million ($95.3 million) in a Series B round led by General Atlantic and Banco Votorantim. Also investing were venture capital funds Monashees, Omidyar Network, Propel, Quona and Mabi, and existing Series A investors. Neon Pagamentos, of São Paulo, is a Brazailian fintech.
Tissum said Nov. 20 that it raised 38.75 million euros ($42.78 million) in a series B round of funding. New investors include BNP Paribas Développement, the European Investment Fund (EIF), M&L Investments, ValQuest Partners, while TISSIUM’s returning investors were Bpifrance, CM-CIC Innovation, Cap Décisif Management, Omnes Capital and Sofinnova Partners. Tissium, of Paris, is life sciences company aiming to develop and commercialize a biopolymer platform to address various unmet clinical needs.
New York City-based Bison Trails, a provider of secure, enterprise-grade infrastructure for multiple blockchain networks, has secured $25.5 million in Series A funding. Blockchain Capital led the round with participation from Kleiner Perkins, Coinbase, Collaborative Fund, A Capital, Consensys, Sound Ventures, Initialized, Accomplice, Galaxy Digital and Notation.
Proletariat Inc, an independent game developer, has closed $20 million in Series C funding. Take-Two Interactive Software Inc led the round with participation from other investors that included Spark Capital and FirstMark Capital.
