Lovell Minnick Partners has made several new additions to its team. The private equity firm has hired Benjamin Kaplan and Steven Korff as vice president and associate respectively in Los Angeles while Greg Dutov is joining the Philadelphia office as an associate.
Daikin Industries Ltd has agreed to acquire Flanders Holdings, a U.S. air filter maker. The seller is Insight Equity. The price of the acquisition is $430 million. Baird advised Flanders on the transaction.

Avista Pharma Solutions, which is backed by Ampersand Capital Partners, has named Eric Setzer as chief financial officer. Previously, Setzer worked at INC Research where he served as the executive director of finance. Avista Pharma is a a contract testing, development and manufacturing company.
