Pittsburgh-based Ebb Therapeutics, a medical tech startup, has named Eduard Röösli as president and CEO. His appointment is effective immediately. Previously, he was managing director for Image Skincare. Ebb Therapeutics is backed by KKR, Arboretum Ventures, Versant Ventures and Partner Ventures.
Grain Management LLC has hired Merche del Valle as chief talent officer. Previously, she worked at Goldman Sachs where she was global head of coaching and advisory based out of the Asia Pacific region.
Law firm Linklaters has added Jason L. Behrens and David C. Miller as partners in its investment funds group. Both previously worked at Schulte Roth & Zabel. Also joining the firm from Schulte Roth & Zabel are senior associate Jason D. Nussbaum and associate Elias N. Gurewitsch.
MeriCal, which is backed by Linden Capital Partners, has named Mark Walsh as CEO and a member of the board of directors. Brian Smith is stepping down as CEO but will remain as an adviser to the management team and the board of directors. MeriCal is a producer of high-quality probiotics and other nutritional supplement products.
New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees has joined Franworth, a franchised-focused growth equity firm, as a partner and member of its board. Brees is also a multi-unit operator of Jimmy John's and Walk On's Bistreaux & Bar locations as well as a partner of Title Boxing Club.
Malvern, Pennsylvania-based VenatoRx, a pharmaceutical company focused on developing novel anti-infectives to treat multi-drug-resistant bacterial infections and hard-to-treat viral infections, has expanded its team with three new additions. Jennifer Ellis is now senior vice president of quality; Dr. Paul McGovern is vice president of medical sciences; and Lauren P. Tornetta has been appointed vice president of regulatory affairs. VenatoRx is backed by Versant Ventures, Abingworth and Foresite Capital.
StepStone Group, a private markets specialist, has appointed Scott Hart as co-CEO. Hart joined StepStone in 2007 after working at Morgan Stanley and TPG Capital.

LFM Capital has appointed Conner Harris as a director. Previously, Harris worked at The Riverside Company's Dallas office where he was vice president for the firm's flagship capital appreciation fund.
Paine Schwartz Partners has named Renata Dinkelmann as director of human capital. Dinkelmann is the former head of global executive recruiting at Kraft Heinz.
