Chicago-based Zing Zang LLC, a non-alcoholic cocktail mix brand, has named Brent Albertson as CEO. His appointment became effective October 1, 2019. Albertson has served as Zing Zang's president and chief commercial officer since 2016. Zing Zang is backed by NexPhase Capital.
Law firm Goodwin has added Kristopher Ring as a partner to its private equity and debt finance practices. He will be based in the firm's new Santa Monica, California office.
Indianapolis-based Herff Jones, a provider of graduation and educational products, has named Steve Down as president. His appointment is effective immediately. Previously, he was vice president and general manager for Allegion's residential division. Herff Jones is a division of Varsity Brands, which is backed by Bain Capital Private Equity.
GTI Statia, an independent crude and refined product storage terminal serving the U.S. Gulf Coast and Caribbean markets, has named John Roller as president and CEO; Jim Calvert as chief commercial officer; and Karen Vázquez as chief financial officer. GTI Statia is backed by Prostar Capital.
Montreal-based private equity firm Walter Capital Partners has named Éric Doyon as managing partner. Prior to joining Walter Capital, Doyon was managing partner of Entrepreneur Capital.
Livonia, Michigan-based RevSpring, a provider of consumer and patient engagement and payment solutions, has named Steve Callis as president of payments. Callis' work experience includes stints at Elavon and EVO Payments International. RevSpring is a portfolio company of GTCR.
Kar's Nuts, a maker of snack products, has named Victor Mehren as CEO. Prior to joining Kar's Nuts, Mehren was chief operating officer at Mars Wrigley Confectionary. Kar’s Nuts is a portfolio company of Palladium Equity Partners.
Next Coast Ventures has named Zaz Floreani as a principal. Previously, she worked at Dropoff where she served as vice president of corporate development.
Bridge Growth Partners LLC said Oct. 22 that Don Callahan has joined the firm as an executive partner. Callahan is the former global head of technology, operations and shared services of Citigroup.
Toronto and New York City-based Tier1 Financial Solutions, a global relationship management technology provider for capital markets and banking, has named Paul Chesek as executive vice president of sales. Previously, Chesek worked at Bluewolf, an IBM company where he led the salesforce practice as a partner and senior managing director. Tier1 is backed by WaveCrest Growth Partners, MassMutual Ventures and Salesforce Ventures.
