Legalist, a litigation finance firm, has named Sean Liu as chief financial officer. Liu is the former investment director at SoftBank's Vision Fund.
San Francisco and Berlin-based e.ventures has named Patrick Reilly as global chief financial officer. Previously, Reilly was CFO at TCV.
Bynder said Oct. 17 that Bert van der Zwan has joined the company as CEO. He succeeds current CEO and founder Chris Hall, who will join the Bynder Supervisory Board as of Nov. 1. Van der Zwan, a software veteran, is currently CEO of Onguard. Bynder is backed by Insight Venture Partners.

KKR said Oct. 16 that it named new leadership for its private equity businesses. Pete Stavros and Nate Taylor were promoted to co-lead the private equity business in America, while Mattia Caprioli and Philipp Freise will co-lead the private equity business in Europe. In Asia-Pacific, Hiro Hirano and Ashish Shastry will co-lead that business.

Contentful, an enterprise headless CMS provider, has expanded its senior management team with three new hires. Joining the company are Saood Shah as vice president of customer success; Kevin Zellmer as vice president of partnerships; and Benjamin Keyser as vice president of product.
