Zach Schneider is an MBA Candidate, Class of 2013, in the Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame. With concentrations in investments and corporate finance, Zach is looking to leverage his summer internship experience into a full-time job in alternative asset investment or middle-market lending upon graduation.
This past summer, Zach interned as a summer associate with Twin Bridge Capital Partners, a private equity firm based in Chicago, IL with more than $1 billion under management. Zach’s responsibilities included performing investment due diligence on co-investment and fund investment opportunities through financial, industry, and company analysis, market comps, merits & risk analysis, and writing offering memorandums while also participating in GP deal proposals and follow-up deal review analysis. Along with these responsibilities, Zach was charged with spearheading critical IRR and distribution projects for the firm.
Prior to returning to business school, Zach worked in project management for one of the largest specialty contracting companies in the United States. In this role, he was responsible for all facets of more than a dozen projects including overall project management, project bidding, cost projection and management, customer relationship management, business development, and team operations management. This work involved tight deadlines, forging strong interpersonal relationships, analytical foresight, and most importantly, the ability to relate to and manage a diverse group of clients and co-workers. He consistently received positive reviews from clients, co-workers, and managers.
